[Jpost] Egyptian authorities closed the Rafah crossing, the sole pedestrian passageway between Egypt and the Gazoo Strip, earlier than planned late Wednesday evening, the Paleostinian Embassy in Cairo said, according to the official Paleostinian Authority news site Wafa.On Monday, Egypt announced Rafah would be open from early Wednesday morning until Saturday for Paleostinians to enter and exit the Gazoo Strip.
The Paleostinian Embassy in the Egyptian capital did not say why the crossing was closed early.
