Erdogan sends stern warning to US over their role in Syria
2018-02-24
[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...
sent another stern warning to the United States (US) and their allies during his meeting with provincial governors on Friday.

"This summer will be scorching hot for both the terrorist organization and its supporters," Erdogan stated.

"If there are those who are prepared to sacrifice themselves for this cause, we are up for that challenge," the Ottoman Turkish President continued.

"The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
can no longer stomach the U.S.’ delaying tactics. We are carefully watching those (who are supporting) the terrorist organization (PYD). If someone is planning to spend $500-550 million to support (the terrorists), are we supposed to wish them good luck?" he added.

Erdogan’s latest threats come just days after his forces seized over 20 percent of the YPG-held Afrin region in northern Aleppo.

#9  Was it a stern warning because it emerged from his stern?

Exactly. At this point a Federal State agreement (see Austro-Hungarian Empire) with Assad's Syria -OR- being annexed into the Neo-Ottoman Empire seem the most likely end result. The Assads, at least, don't seem to think that 'The only good Kurd is a dead Kurd'.

#7  When the statement about the 30,000-strong Kurdish force was made, I thought they were going to drive to the Mediterranean Sea with American air cover. Without an outlet to the sea, either we will permanently be subsidizing them, or they will eventually surrender to the Syrian government.

#4  The Canadians could get some of our embassy staff out of Teheran, but DoD won't can't get our people out of Turkey. Took Mount Penatubo to finally override the obstruction of the generals to get us out of the Philippines.

#3  You have to miss the days when the CIA spent their time getting rid of tinpot dictators instead of interfering in US politics....

#1  Its time we removed our Turkish airbase to somewhere in Greece and responded in kind as Trump is an expert at doing, to this kind of provocation.
