Aerospace.org: China's Out-of-Control Space Station Will Crash Into Earth in Just Weeks, Likely to Hit Northern U.S. States
2018-03-07
The Daily Mail adds a less technical explanation of events, for those who prefer things less technical:
  • The Tiangong-1 spacecraft has been out of control since September 2016

  • Agencies around the world have been monitoring the doomed craft's descent

  • Three separate predictions have been issued in recent days by various experts

  • Around 10 to 40 per cent of the satellite is expected to survive re-entry

#10  We should claim it'll hit the US, then nuke it over China:p It's the only way to be sure.

#5  Did we fund the Tiangong station? We funded ISIS and that one is still a money-black hole in orbit.

#3  Actually, since we funded it, it should fall to earth here. At least we'll be getting something back for our money.

#2  "Likely to Hit Northern U.S. States" is a bit exaggerated. Northern U.S. States lie in a zone that is a bit more likely to experience a possible impact.

Funny enough, this zone also includes North Korea
