Bush says Trump ‘makes me look pretty good' by comparison |
2018-03-08 |
[The Hill] Former President George W. Bush often jokes that President Trump's administration makes his own former White House team look "pretty good," according to a Republican source. The former Republican president regularly knocks the current administration, a source close to the Trump administration told National Journal, unable to understand why the White House often seems to be in chaos. "Bush is often heard to remark, unable to stifle his trademark smirk: 'Sorta makes me look pretty good, doesn't it?' " National Journal reported. |

#20 Reagan's 11th Commandment, but please W, be quiet, your time is over, and you didn't fix so many things. After a trillion dollars and all these years in the Graveyard of Empires later, how is that nation building idea working out? |

#11 Abu nailed it, GWB lives for revenge. It's kinda like that as one grows older. Outliving the bastids is also a reward. |

#10 Abu nailed it,GWB lives for revenge. Many think that GWB would have been happy to run the Texas Rangers baseball team into the ground for a career, but he felt compelled to run for governor and President as payback for Clinton beating his father in 1992. |

#9 If we had President Gore in 2000 we probably would have had a Republican in 2008, probably Guilliani. |

#7 Would the world be any worse if Gore had been elected in 2000? Minor variations on the same Deep State theme. W never said squat about Baraq but he has a grudge against Trump because Trump beat the crap out of ¡Jeb!. |

#6 Question: Would the world be any worse if Gore had been elected in 2000? IMHO, Yes. |

#2 Just a reflection of his establishment mentality. GW sat down in Texas painting by numbers and keeping his mouth closed while obama walked all over the constitution and regularly blamed GW for any and everything. The least you could do is afford the same to Trump. |
