[IsraelTimes] Violent demonstrations reported across West Bank and along Gazoo border fence; two Paleostinians said maimed near Ramallah and four in Gazoo

A Paleostinian man was killed in festivities on Friday with the Israeli army in the West Bank city of Hebron,
...Hamas Central in the West Bank...
the Paleostinian health ministry said, as hundreds of Paleostinians demonstrated against the moving of the US embassy to Jerusalem.

Mohammed al-Jabari, 24, was shot during the festivities and later died in hospital, the ministry said.

The Israeli army said a "riot" had broken out in Hebron and that protesters had attacked soldiers.

"Troops fired live rounds towards a main instigator who held a Molotov cocktail with the intent to hurl it," a front man said, adding an investigation had been launched.

Some Paleostinian media reported he Jabari was deaf. The official Paleostinian news agency Wafa said he had disabilities, without further details.

During the violent demonstrations, Paleostinians threw rocks and fire bombs at the soldiers who responded with riot dispersal means. There were no reports of injuries to IDF forces.

Two other Paleostinians were reported maimed by live fire in festivities near Ramallah in the West Bank, while violent festivities were also reported along the border fence with Gazoo.

The Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",-run health ministry in Gazoo said four people were maimed, one of them seriously.

Paleostinian groups have called for festivities with Israeli forces to protest the US administration’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocate the US embassy to the city.

Hamas leader says it can’t stop mass protests slated against US embassy move

[IsraelTimes] Ismail Haniyeh predicts 'tens of thousands' of Palestinians will march on Israeli border when diplomatic mission relocates to Jerusalem in May.

On Friday, four Palestinian protesters were injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers near Khan Younis. The Hamas-run health ministry said the injured protesters were taken to a local hospital and one was in a serious condition and the other three were in moderate condition.

Earlier this week, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip called for a sit-in protest along the border in the weeks leading up to Nakba Day.

Organizers on Wednesday said a tent city was being erected near border to protest Israel’s refusal to grant Palestinian refugees and their descendants a full “right of return” — permission to live in Israel.

The group wants hundreds of thousands of Gazans, including families, to come join the tent city “at the nearest, safe point from the border” with Israel, the Reuters news agency reported.

Shots fired at IDF troops near Nablus

[IsraelTimes] Shots were fired Thursday evening in the direction of IDF soldiers who were operating near the city of Nablus in the West Bank, the military said. There were no casualties in the incident, the IDF said. Troops were conducting searches in the area for suspects, it added.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said in February that Israel’s security forces thwarted between 20 and 30 terror attacks in the West Bank each week over the past few months.

Security forces arrest 9 in anti-terror sweep

[Ynet] The IDF, Shin Bet, and Israel Police arrested nine wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activity and violent disturbances in The West Bank Wednesday overnight. They were detained and transferred for questioning.
