| Retaliatory rebel mortar attack kills and injures scores in Damascus |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] At least 6 people were killed, 24 other maimed so far when mortars fired from rebel-held areas hit the Syrian capital. Vital and overcrowded districts and neighborhoods including Malki, Maiysat , Bab Sharqi and Jaramana suburb were indiscriminately targeted. The bloody mortar rampage comes in retaliation for the recent military victories lately achieved by the Syrian forces in the increasingly-diminished rebel enclave in Eastern Ghouta. Local sources reported 4 civilians tragically killed when a mortar shell hit a minibus in Jarama Suburb. 6 others were also injured in the incident. In the meantime, the government troops literally sliced the Death Eater-controlled pocket of East Ghouta after recapturing Madira town; linking up with Army units in Harasta. |
