| Serbian court sentences 7 people to prison over terror charges in Syria |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] The Belgrade High Court of Serbia on Wednesday sentenced seven people to prison on charges of sending fighters and money to terrorist groups fighting in Syria, the News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported this afternoon. According to the report, the seven defendants were sentenced to up to eleven years in prison for working with the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) and al-Nusra ...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ... Front. Of the seven charged by the Belgrade High Court, three of them were sentenced in absentia. One of the missing defendants is believed to have been killed while fighting with the terrorist groups in Syria. The News Agency that Dare Not be Named added that the majority of the defendants came from the Sandzak region of southern Serbia; they would also deny the charges. |
