#12  All these dem governors will say that everything is fine and and that there is no problem with illegal immigation. So in their minds they think that President Trump is using the border issue as a political diversion, and calling up the NG is a political ploy. It is the mentality we have to deal with people that want to change the fundamentals of this country.

#11  Posse Comitatus can be waived by presidential decree. See Reagan and the Atlanta prison riots or Clinton and Waco.

Yet another thing I should feel bad for laughing at. But don't.

#9  OK. Send the Army. Don't let Jerry Brown call the shots. If he makes trouble send the Army to Sacramento and arrest his ass.

#8  ...a little technicality. Posse Comitatus specifies the Army not the Navy. The Corps is part of the Navy. The writers never envisioned a Marine Corps this size.

#7  The office of California Gov. Jerry Brown did not respond to questions about whether it would deploy troops.

Send the Marines to California's border. It's not very far from Camp Pendleton.

#6  Rules of engagement include: continuing to ignore those in USA who knowingly hire illegal aliens.

#5  Are 2-4 k troops enough to get the job done? Also, what are the rules of engagement?

#1  The headline gave me the crude impression that the illegals who had made it to Texas were departing for further inland by chopper. Who writes this stuff?
