#6 Deacon Blues that is a Southern Black Racer. They are not an easy to handle snake they are harmless but very prone to bite! They also can move very fast. If it was a rat snake I would say the photo is staged but unless that snake was really cold there is no way you could get a racer to poise like that! Also we don't have black rat snakes in FL. Since the pic was taken at Elgin AFB the rat snake from that area would be a Gulf Hammock Ratsnake or what is called a "white oak snake". |

#3 It's just a black rat snake for Pete's sake! I have to handle them occasionally out here in the wild. They are very docile. |
