Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson withdraws from VA nomination
2018-04-26
[Washington Examiner] Ronny Jackson, President Trump's controversial pick to lead the Department of Veterans affairs, is withdrawing from the nomination, according to press reports.

Jackson’s confirmation hearings were delayed indefinitely after allegations emerged against him for workplace misconduct. The longtime White House physician has been accused of handing out prescription pain medications and working drunk on the job.
I suspect our veterans have just lost a very good man.

#5  I just heard Trump on TV with words to the effect that a certain Democrat senator from Montana who is up for reelection this year might be confronted with this issue in November.

#2  I don't think that's his style, B., unless you mean he's not going to run again in 2020.

#1  So unsubstantiated accusations win the day and a string of 'top block' USN FITREPS signed by multiple presidential senior raters (both Republican and Dem) mean nothing.

I am now beginning to wonder how much longer Donald Trump will put up with this kak before he finally says... 'that's it, I gave it my best shot. Take this job and shove it.'
