| President's lawyer Ty Cobb to leave Donald Trump legal team during Russia investigation |

| [USA Today] WASHINGTON ‐ White House lawyer Ty Cobb is leaving President Trump's legal team, an administration official said Wednesday. Cobb informed Trump he plans to retire, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity pending a formal announcement. The New York Times reported that Washington attorney Emmet Flood would replace Cobb, who told the paper "it has been an honor to serve the country in this capacity at the White House. I wish everybody well moving forward." Cobb's departure means that Trump's legal team has almost completely turned over since the start of the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller. |
