Gazans set fire to gas pipes at Kerem Shalom crossing while 15,000 riot at border
2018-05-12
[Ynet] For the second time in recent days, Paleostinian rioters destroy infrastructure and equipment meant to benefit them during violent festivities on the Gazoo border.

Hundreds of Paleostinian rioters vandalized and set fire to a fuel complex and a conveyor belt on the Gazoo side of Kerem Shalom, the strip's main cargo crossing with Israel, causing more than $9 million in damages and disrupting the import of diesel fuel and building materials.

According to the IDF, the fuel installation is the only way to bring diesel fuel into Gazoo for operating generators for hospitals and other key facilities.

A video from the Kerem Shalom crossing shows Paleostinians cheering as a fire was set.

It was the second such attack on the facility in a week. "Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, continues to lead the residents of Gazoo to destroy the only assistance they receive," the IDF said.

Nissim Jan, the director of an Israeli company that operates Kerem Shalom in partnership with private Paleostinian companies, said he spent large sums to repair last week's damage. "This time I can't repair and will not repair it. Where shall I bring money from?" he said.

Some 15,000 Paleostinian rioters burned tires and threw grenades, pipe bombs and stones at IDF troops near the Gazoo border with Israel on Friday.

Some protesters flew kites with burning rags attached. One of the kites was downed by a small Israeli drone. Others caused fires in open areas in Israeli communities by the Gazoo border. Most of the fires broke out in the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council area, and firefighters were able to gain control of all of them.

Several Paleostinian rioters attempted to sabotage the fence and other security measures on the border.

A 40-year-old Paleostinian was rubbed out in his chest in festivities with the IDF east of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the strip, according to Gazoo health officials.

At least 176 Paleostinians were maimed by live fire, including a 16-year-old boy shot in the head, the Paleostinian health officials added. Dozens of others were overcome by tear gas inhalation.

Since the Hamas-led marches began in late March, 44 Paleostinians have been killed and more than 1,800 maimed by Israel army fire, according to figures provided by Gazoo sources.
Fog of protest: The Jerusalem Post gives us 5,000 rioters, one dead, 170 wounded, and 44 dead over the weeks of protests. And Dawn names the dead guy:
Forty-year-old Jaber Abu Mustafa died after he was shot in the chest near Khan Yunis in the southern Gazoo Strip, the ministry said.

Nearly 150 other Paleostinians were shot by Israeli forces during the demonstrations, the ministry said.

The death takes to 53 the number of Paleostinians killed since protests began on March 30 calling for Paleostinians to be able to return to the homes they fled in 1948, which are now inside Israel.

Thousands of Paleostinians gathered at five different points along the border, AFP correspondents at the scene said.

Gazan said wounded by IDF fire while launching burning kite

[IsraelTimes] A Gazook is reportedly injured by IDF fire as the weekly "March of Return" festivities resume on the border between the Gazoo Strip and Israel. The Gazook is said to be launching a burning kite toward Israel when he is maimed. It would be the first known IDF shooting of a Paleostinian kite flyer.

#2  Hamas is cooking off a hand grenade to try to pin it all on Israel.
It's in a death spiral.

#1  Perhaps the gas lines should be shut off for safety until they settle down.
