Speaking to AlSumaria News, the source said, "information received from the intelligence showed that some Islamic State members will infiltrate into one of the villages, southwest of Kirkuk." An ambush was set, according to the source, "by the 16th brigade of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) in al-Yorgon region in al-Rashad town, southwest of Kirkuk. A truck carrying the snuffies was targeted." "Fire was opened against the truck, leaving five snuffies killed, while the rest managed to escape," the source who preferred anonymity, added. |
