UN chief Antonio Guterres: Gaza 'on brink of war'
2018-06-20 | |
The UN chief said in a report obtained by news agencies that he is "shocked" by Israel's use of live fire since border protests began in Gazoo on March 30. Guterres said its military has "a responsibility to exercise maximum restraint" except as a last resort. The report was sent to the council last week in advance of a meeting on Tuesday on the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict. "The killing of children, as well as of clearly identified journalists and medical staffers by security forces during a demonstration are particularly unacceptable," Guterres said. "They must be allowed to perform their duties without fear of death or injury." Israel has not yet responded to the accusations.

#4 Um, the military has a clear dictate to kill any foreign invaders attempting to cross their border. The fact some are NOT killed is what's shocking. |

#3 #2 clearly identified journalists and medical staffers. And how, pray tell, are they identified? They're riding in the Red Thingy ambulances. With the mortars and missiles |

#2 clearly identified journalists and medical staffers And how, pray tell, are they identified? And why should anyone believe such an identification? Define children and what are they doing at a riot?? |
