| Houthis recapture new area in west coast in successful counterattack |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... rebels launched a counter offensive in west coast and fully secured al-Jah area following fierce battles with the UAE-backed forces, cutting off all supply routes. A 25-minute video published by the group’s media wing shows part of the festivities which destroyed 7 armored vehicles and allowed the Iran-backed fighters to seize 5 others as well as huge quantities of weapons and ammunitions. A number of vehicles were also set ablaze after the UAE-backed snuffies escaped the battlefield. According to Houthis, scores of ’mercenaries’ have been killed and maimed in the festivities, others had been captured alive and given the appropriate medical aid. |
