| Tens of Islamic State bodies found in mass grave, west of Anbar |

| Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A mass grave containing bodies of Islamic State members was found in west of Anbar, a senior tribal fighter said on Sunday. “Intelligence information enabled security troops of the Tribal Mobilization Forces to reach a mass grave containing bodies of Islamic State bodies,” Shuaib Barzan, tribal commander in al-Baghdadi town, told BasNews website. The troops also managed to fill four trenches that were used by the militants over the past few years. “Presence of the shelters and trenches in the Jazira region is a danger and obstacle for the residents. All the trenched were filled so the militants cannot hide in or move through it,” he added. “Tens of bodies of the militants were removed and transferred to forensic medicine department to identify them,” he added. |
