| [OANN] President Trump recently announced who will replace Hope Hicks as communications director at the White House. On Thursday, The president said Bill Shine ‐ former co-president of Fox News ‐ will serve as his assistant and as deputy chief of staff of communications. Shine was at the White House last Wednesda, and brings over two decades of experience to the role. The position has been vacant since March, when Hicks abruptly resigned after working closely with the president for years. Shine resigned from Fox News network last year amid controversy surrounding the late Roger Ailes. |
