In remarks reported by the media service of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces), Qassim Musleh, commander of the western Anbar axis, said, "artillery shelling was carried out against pockets of Islamic State at the border region of Sousa, in Syria." The shelling, according to Musleh, "destroyed three rest houses of Islamic State, killing group of murderous Moslems inside. There were Arabs and foreign holy warriors, as well as the head of security department called Abu Aisha." Iraqi warplanes had launched wave of air raids against outposts of the Islamic State group in Syria. |
