| Gazan kites burn 150 acres in Israel’s south |

| [IsraelTimes] Some 600 dunams (150 acres) of brush and farmland in Israel’s south are burned today by incendiary kites launched from the Gazoo Strip. Fire truck units were joined by at least six firefighting planes to battle the fires. |

| #5 My pint is, balloons and kites are not fast or stealthy. It seems the same radars that can see Hezbollah rockets could tip local responders that something with the signature of one of these arson devices is headed towards a certain location. But that's an uneducated guess on my part, for sure... |
