| Three people wounded in bomb blast, southwest of Baghdad |

| Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Three people were maimed in a kaboom, southwest of Baghdad, a police source was quoted saying on Thursday. "A bomb, placed on the side of the road at al-Bayaa’ region, southwest of Baghdad, went off today, leaving three people injured," the source told AlSumaria News. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the source said, "security troops cordoned off the blast scene and prevented approaching, while the maimed were taken to hospital for treatment." Baghdad has recently seen significant security stability, however, some kabooms take place in sporadic regions across the capital every now and then. |
