Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Three people were maimed as result of the kaboom that took place in central Kikuk, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said on Wednesday. A statement by the Security Media Center said "a terrorist assault carried out using a booby-trapped parked vehicle in central Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... left three people maimed. They were taken to hospital for treatment." A security source previously told Baghdad Today website that the blast that rocked Tes’ein district in Kirkuk left five people injured. |
