[Daily Caller] Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley announced he was going to give Christine Blasey Ford more time to decide whether or not she wanted to appear before his committee to testify.
"I just granted another extension to Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed w the statement she made last week to testify to the senate," Grassley tweeted. "She shld decide so we can move on I want to hear her."
He also hoped that Judge Kavanaugh understands his decision to give her more time.
The tweet did not specify an exact deadline this time around, and thus far, Grassley has not altered the scheduled Monday vote.
Grassley’s previous deadline was Friday night at 10p.m. As that deadline approached, Ford’s lawyers asked for another day for her to decide. Grassley tweeted shortly thereafter that he felt a bit like he was being played. |
