The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East in a statement said the U.S. forces carried out airstrikes using unmanned aerial vehicles, targeting the ISIS turbans in Pecha Dara and Suki district.

The statement further added that 8 ISIS turbans were killed during the airstrike in Karangal area of Pech Dara district and 6 others were killed in Dewa Gul area of Suki district.

In the meantime, the 201st Silab Corps said the Afghan armed forces carried out artillery strikes against the turbans in Alingar district of Laghman province, leaving at least 4 turbans dead and 6 others maimed.

According to 201st Silab, the artillery strikes were carried out in support of the armed forces who were ambushed by the turbans in Alingar district.
