[DailyMail] - Dutch police have arrested seven men in Arnhem and Weert on suspicion of plotting a terror attack
- Found 220lbs of fertiliser for car bomb after arrests, according to investigators
- Ringleader has been named as Iraqi Hardi N, 34, who was convicted in 2016 of plotting to join Al Qaeda in Syria along with two others
- In 2017 he had his sentence upgraded to two years on appeal, but was allowed to serve 21 of those on probation after court heard he renounced extremism
- As a condition of release, he had to speak weekly to a theologian about his views
- Two other alleged members of the terror cell also had previous convictions for terror offences, including 21-year-old Waïl el-A, who also tried to travel to Syria
- El-A is linked to N through jihadi rapper Marouane B. All three lived in Arnhem before B traveled to Syria to fight
