Led by their 3rd Crops and 10th Division, the Syrian Arab Army managed to score a new advance in the al-Safa region on Monday after an intense battle with the Islamic State The Syrian Arab Army was able to make this advance in southern Syria, despite suffering heavy casualties as a result of an ambush that was laid out by the Islamic State. As a result of this ambush by the Islamic State, the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF) suffered more than 15 casualties in the al-Safa region on Monday. In the video below, the Syrian Arab Army can be seen advancing in this rocky part of al-Safa, despite heavy resistance from the Islamic State. |
