[KhaamaPress] At least four Talibs were blown up by own explosives in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan, the Afghan military said Saturday.The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North in a statement said the incident has taken place on Kunduz-Qala Zal highway.
The statement further added that four Talibs who were looking to plant an Improvised Explosive Device on the highway were killed after the explosives went off prematurely.
According to 209th Shaheen Corps, an Improvised Explosive Device expert of the group was also among those killed.
The anti-government armed murderous Moslem groups including Talibs have not commented regarding the report so far.
Kunduz is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan but the security situation of has tanked more during the recent years.
The Talibs are active in some districts of Kunduz and often conduct terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions.
