| IED Blast Hits AU Troops In Somali Capital |

| [RADIOSHABELLE] A roadside kaboom kaboom was reported to have hit a military convoy carrying African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... soldiers in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu on Saturday. The remote-controlled land destroyed one of the armoured vehicles in between SOS and Ex-control Balad in the capital’s Huriwa district, according to the eyewitnesses. A witness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Radio Shabelle that the AU troops opened fire indiscriminately at a nearby crowd, though details of the casualties remain unclear. |
