| Venezuela: National Assembly declares the "usurpation" of the Presidency of the Republic |

| [ELUNIVERSAL] The National Assembly (AN) approved on Tuesday an agreement on the declaration of usurpation of the Presidency of the Republic -by President Nicolás Maduro- and the application of the Constitution to "re-establish its validity". The Legislative Power also resolved to "assume the de facto situation" of Maduro as legally ineffective and to consider "null all the alleged acts emanating from the Executive Power."
