2019-02-11 |
[ALMASDARNEWS] A large number of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reportedly deployed to the southwestern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate on Wednesday, a source from the military told al-Masdar News. According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army sent a large number of troops to southwestern Aleppo and eastern Idlib after Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham was observed building up their forces at these fronts. The source said the Syrian Arab Army’s high command believes that Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is preparing to launch a big attack against the government forces in both southwestern Aleppo (Rashiddeen axis) and eastern Idlib (Abu Dhuhour axis). The news of a potential jihadist offensive comes just days before the Syrian government and opposition prepare to meet at the Astana Peace Conference. At the peace conference, the topic of the Idlib Governorate’s future rule is set to be discussed by the government, opposition, Russia, ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... , and Iran. |
