h/t Instapundit Almost every time we see a discussion on social media about handgun-cartridge selection for personal defense, we see responses from people who feel the need to share with us that people have been killed with such cartridges as the .22 LR, .22 WMR and other small calibers. Sadly, these folks appear to not understand the purpose of defensive shooting. |

#5 I love my .45, but it's too expensive to feed. So my EDC is a Springfield XDM 3.8" in 9mm. My wife has a Ruger LC9s in 9mm. And I'm eagerly awaiting Seismic Ammo's new 185gr 9mm ammo. |

#4 I just don't feel comfortable carrying anything less than a .45. Mainly because I like confrontations to be very short. |

#2 I usually carry a Glock G30s or Sig 220, I simply feel better with a .45. On some occasions I'll carry a Kahr PM9 when concealment is a problem. At home or in my vehicles I use service-size .45's. |
