 has hired a Moslem to manage his presidential campaign in the United States, The Guardian reported on Wednesday.

Sanders chose the political director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Faiz Shakir, to serve as his campaign manager.

As per media reports, Shakir was born to Pak immigrants colonists. He is the first Moslem to ever manage a US presidential campaign.

According to CNN Shakir is a "respected, progressive operative".

But I still think he's trying to inoculate himself, although the looking for a buyout theory is probably right in the long run.

#4  I saw speculation he wasn't going for the win, but for the buyout when the demoncrats paid him to go away and stop wrecking things. This choice just confirms that.

#2  Faiz Shakir was a big supporter of the first flotilla and has spoken at CAIR functions. He is a BDS supporter and has criticized Israel's defense of its people on numerous occasions. . He has help raise funds for the Holy Land Foundation.
