launched a deadly missile strike that resulted in a large number of casualties within the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), a source near the Abu Dhuhour axis told al-Masdar News.According to the military source, the jihadist rebels fired a U.S.-made TOW missile towards a gathering of Syrian Army soldiers in the western countryside of Abu Dhuhour, near the town of al-Sukkariyeh.
The source said the anti-tank guided missile managed to hit its intended target, killing and wounding over 25 Syrian Arab Army soldiers.
He said that seven soldiers were confirmed dead and 22 others were hospitalized as a result of their wounds sustained from the jihadist attack.
