[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have handed over tens of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers that were previously imprisoned by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) in eastern Syria.

According to reports from northern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces handed over 32 soldiers to the Syrian military at the Ithriya Crossing near the Hama and al-Raqqa axis.

Of the 32 soldiers handed over to the military this week, at least 14 of them were officers in the Syrian Arab Army.

Furthermore, the Syrian Arab Army agreed to release seven fighters from the SDF in exchange for the 32 soldiers.

These 32 soldiers that were handed over to the Syrian military this week were previously held by the Islamic State for an undisclosed duration.
