#4  I just hope that the truth is not buried. Airbus has had software problems, too. This investigation should go beyond market competition. The truth is often surrounded by a body guard of bull sh*t, to roughly paraphrase Churchill (Winston, not Ward).

#1  I guess.... I find it interesting that for the last two years Boeing has been taking Airbus market away with the 737, to the point Airbus has closed production. The minute this accident happened the EU, which owns Airbus, banned the aircraft from flying. No data, no facts, just political hysteria claiming it was just like the last crash. Gee, if that's the truth then they should have stopped flying anything Lufthansa was working on because the crash was attributed to poor maintenance by Lufthansa. Even more questionable is the data recorder is being sent to the EU, not to the FAA and Boeing. Who in the EEU will review the data and intellectual data for the EU? It will be Boeing competitor, Airbus. There is a lot at play here, unfortunately its more political than factual.
