| 6 of a family killed, 9 wounded in Taliban militants attack in Faryab: 29th Shaheen Corps |

| [KhaamaPress] At least six members of a family were killed and nine others were maimed in an attack by Talibs in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan. The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said a group of Talibs stormed a residential house in Qaisar district few days back targeting all members of a single family. The statement further added that the attack was carried out in Kohi Village leaving six members of the family dead including elders and children while nine others were maimed. The anti-government armed bully boyz including Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... have not commented regarding the incident so far. Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some of the restive districts of the province where they often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions. |
