| Special Forces arrest the shadow district chief of Taliban in Shebarghan city |

The Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) in a statement said the shadow district of Taliban for Faizabad district was arrested in Shebargha city. The statement further added that Mawlavi Obaidullah alias Hanafi had recently visited Shebarghan city to plan and coordinate terrorist attacks but was arrested during a special operation of the NDS Special Forces. The anti-government armed murderous Moslems including Taliban have not commented regarding the arrest of Mawlavi Obaidullah so far. Jawzjan is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some of the restive districts of the province where they often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions. |
