2019-05-20
[BREITBART] A Southbridge, Massachusetts, school teacher allegedly planted live ammunition at his school then called 911 to report having found the ammo.

According to WCVB, 57-year-old Alfred Purcell, reported finding "9 mm ammunition in the rear stairwell" of Southbridge High School. His report led to a lockdown, during which the police examined surveillance footage and saw Purcell allegedly taken ammo out of his own pocket, "dropping it on the floor and quickly leaving the area."

ABC News reports that Purcell was incarcerated

and police found over 100 live rounds in car. He allegedly told officer he planted the ammo to "prove to the school that they needed to get metal detectors."

Southbridge Police Chief Shane Woodson saying, "There was no kids that were maimed, nobody was seriously impacted by this other than we went into a lockdown for an hour and we had to investigate a teacher who was doing things he shouldn’t be doing,"

Southbridge superintendent Jeffrey Villar said, "This individual acted in a disgusting manner. I feel very badly for our students because it is an adult who failed them."

#7  Also, Alfred Purcell already knew he was being let go from his Biology teaching position. It is likely that he had already been flagged as an unstable person. And this action proves it.

This seems more like a dry run than anything else.

#6  Video shows him placing one round of 9mm in the stairwell. It was during a subsequent search of his car that they found over a hundred shotgun shells.

#4  Just to point out, a standard box of cartridges in 9mm is 50 count. One box is good enough for this hoax, so what's up with 100+ ?

I am now curious as to what subject Alfy teaches, and how long has he been off his rocker?

What say you, reckless endangerment count for each student, staff, and responder? Or can we just take him out back and break his shins? As a responder, as someone with children in school, no I am really not kidding.

He allegedly told officer he planted the ammo to "prove to the school that they needed to get metal detectors."

Bull crap. Take him out back.
