The plan was light on details, but Trump said he knew where the forces would come from: Germany. Berlin's reaction is mixed. Polish officials had been lobbying the Trump administration for a permanent US troop presence in their country. What they got was a more vague outline "affirming the significant defense cooperation between our nations," as US President Donald Trump said at Wednesday's presser at the White House with Polish President Andrzej Duda. |

| #1 We did such a fantastic job of protecting Germany that they don't understand why they need to be protected. They literally don't get why armies are necessary. They feel morally superior because their government doesn't pay for bombs. They'd prefer to spend the money on a welfare state while ruthlessly shitting all over the USA for protecting them. "If any Western European government would follow these ideas of Washington, they would be kicked out of office by their own population," he predicted.
