The military officials said Saturday that the Special Forces killed 3 Taliban fighters in Mohammad Agha district of Pashtun-infested Logar.
The Special Forces killed 4 Taliban in a similar operation in Maiwand district of Kandahar, the officials added.
They also destroyed 4 house-borne improvised bombs during the same operation, the officials added.
The Talibs have not commented regarding the operations so far.
