The 207th Zafar Corps in a statement said the coalition forces conducted an airstrike in Azizabad Village of Zawal district in Herat.
The statement further added that the airstrike killed Ewaz son of Mir Khan, one of the IED makers of Taliban.
The airstrike also maimed another key Taliban group member Sher Ahmad who is the brother of Taliban’s shadow district chief for Zawal.

a clash broke out between the Afghan forces and Taliban during an operation in Posht-e-Rod district of Farah province, the 207th Zafar Corps said.
The security forces killed four Talibs and maimed 7 others during the clash.
The 207th Zafar Corps also added that the security forces discovered and defused 7 improvised bombs during the operation.
