Airstrikes kill Taliban’s Red Unit commander for Takhar and his 12 fighters
[KhaamaPress] The security forces conducted airstrikes in Takhar province of Afghanistan killing the Red Unit commander of the group.
The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the security forces conducted the airstrikes in Baharak district of Takhar.
Furthermore, the 209th Shaheen Corps said the airstrikes killed Mawlai Aziz, the Red Unit commander of Taliban for Takhar.
The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the airstrikes also killed 12 fighters of Mawlavi Aziz.
6 Taliban militants killed in Special Forces raid, airstrike in Takhar province
[KhaamaPress] The security forces killed six Taliban militants during separate operations conducted in Takhar province.
The military officials said Saturday that the Afghan Special Forces killed 4 Taliban militants during a raid in Baharak district of Takhar.
Furthermore, the security force conducted an airstrike in Baharak district which killed 2 Taliban fighters.
The anti-government armed militants have not commented regarding the operations so far.
Special Forces fully clear Baharak district of Takhar from the presence of Taliban militants
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces fully cleared the Baharak district of Takhar province from Taliban militants presence.
The Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Special Forces killed at least 27 Taliban militants during the operation.
Furthermore, the Special Forces conducted search operation in all villages of Baharak to ensure no militant is left in the area.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
