 IED experts in North-eastern Kapisa province of Afghanistan, the Afghan military said.

The 201st Silab Corps in a statement said a premature IED explosion killed two Taliban IED experts, Abdullah alias Laser and Muazamil alias Petrol in Kapisa province.

The statement further added that the two Taliban IED experts were planting a bomb in Afghania Valley of Nejrab district when it off prematurely, instantly killing the two IED experts.

Talibs frequently use improvised bombs to target the security forces but majority of roadside kaboomings inflict casualties on civilians.

The 'martyr pensions' paid to survivors of jihadis in high profile suicide attacks will be denied in this case. They should be able to write to their congressman into legislating up a fatwa or two in their favor at the jirga . Or lawyers to demand damages incurred. Labor rights. Hell, Ossamacare !

That's one 'democratic' solution I see forthcoming for Af.

#1  There seems to be a lot of these "experts" killed in premature explosions. Has someone figured out an EMP device that will set off the explosives?
