#12 For the last five weeks, new cases have run 20-30,000 but the number of serious/crital rmains about 16,000 total. Some 100k new cases and no change in the serious/critical. COVID deaths peaked about April 18 at some 3,000 per day, trending down to under 500 this week, but jumped up all the way to 872 yesterday. That's nationally, of course. Some places are better/worse than average. Most of this comes from daily tracking of Worldometer. |
