| Alan Dershowitz sues former Israeli health chief Prof. Yoram Lass |

| [Arutz 7] - Former Harvard Law School professor and prominent American jurist Alan Dershowitz has filed a defamation lawsuit against Prof. Yoram Lass, a former senior Israeli health official-turned radio personality. Dershowitz filed the lawsuit against Prof. Lass Thursday, demanding a sum of one million dollars in damages, over comments Lass made on his radio program recently. Prof. Lass, a former Labor MK who served as the Director-General of the Israeli Health Ministry, gained national attention this year over his sharp criticism of the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, arguing that the government had exaggerated the danger of the virus and was causing excessive damage with its lockdown policies and other restrictions. |
