| Anthony Blinken reveals three American noes towards Syria |

| [NPASYRIA] The United States will not welcome any step towards normalization with Syria’s Assad, nor will it lift sanctions on Syria, the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, said on Wednesday. In a tripartite meeting with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed and the Israeli Yair Lapid, Blinken added that the US policy towards Syria will not change, and "we will remain opposed to any rebuilding efforts until there is a political progress." "What we have not done and what we do not intend to do is to express any support for efforts to normalize relations or rehabilitate Mr. Assad or lifted a single sanction on Syria or changed our position to oppose the reconstruction of Syria, until there is irreversible progress toward a political solution, which we believe is necessary and vital," Blinken added.
