#2  ...Likely all three knew about something and either tried to cover it up and/or ignore it. A few years ago, there was a similar mass LOC in a SEABEE unit when the XO had a wee bit too much to drink and was found strolling through the foliage in the altogether.

In front of mixed company, no less. He screwed up, yes, but the skipper and MCPO tried to hush it up instead of letting nature take it's course.
