| #4 I know this is wandering far off of the main topic, but this is yet another example of "mission creep". There is nothing in the original mission of the Justice Department that would include constructing buildings for the abuse of illegal drugs. Similarly, there is nothing in the original mission of the Center for Disease Control to lecture people about salt or guns. |

| #1 100 years ago the same basic stupid idea was tried here in the USA. Doubt it, look it up. It was an attempt to help existing addicts as the Federal / state drug laws came into being. Who can name the book that started the drug control movement? Btw: it was said to have exploded the hard addict poplulation 5 fold. |
