Why Donald Trump Could Be The Next US President
2022-02-08
The view from Germany. Original article title: Donald Trump 'laying the groundwork' for another presidential run.
[DW] The former US president is riling up crowds at his rallies and has raised enormous funds. He hasn't yet made his intentions official but experts say if he runs again, he could win again.

At a recent rally in Texas, Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
talked about Crooked Hillary Clinton

#12  Speaking is what Trump does too much of.

He'd quickly devolve into Tweeter of the House, picking entertaining but ultimately pointless fights with left-wing attention whores like Bucktooth and Tlaib-an.

Need more action and results from Le Grand Orange.

#11  I think we are looking at 3 terms or more of GOP Presidents if they don't screw it up. That's what we got after Carter and Biden is both worth and seen as illegitimate. So saying that I'd Like a Biden/Desantes term followed by two Desantes/? terms.

I must say though that I really like Chealing Chomotle4158's idea of Trump as Speaker of the House (putting him 3rd in line for the Executive so the Dems wouldn't dare mess about with impeaching)

#9  #6 Glenmore, According to our Constution, the legislative branches of State governments have plenary power to decertify electors in an elections. The courts or executive branches are out of the picture.

#8  Oh and the bonus for Speaker Trump? McConnel would be forced to deal with him instead of the other way around. Especially with a President DeSantis in the Whitehouse backing him up.

#7  Meh, I'd rather have the more effective fighter DeSantis in office than Trump, but I'd settle for Trump over anyone else but him.

My ideal would be Desantis as President, and Trump as Speaker of the House. IMHO Speaker would suit Trump's style a lot better, and allow him to effectively beat the crap out of the bureaucracy by pushing congressional actions and investigations and passing laws stripping authority from the bureacrats.

Plus it would be a hoot to see him holding disciplinary power over "The Squad", and hearing their lamentations as they are driven down.

#6  the claims of a fraudulent election have not been disproved

No, but fraud can not affect the results of the election anymore, not since Jan 6. No court will take a case - since there is no Constitutional recourse the issue is moot.

#5  ^ But... I do hope people still keep faith and vote.

#4  Nonsense. Just the 'Democracy' safety valve being waved in faces again. Everybody knows the Democrats don't even have to try anymore.

#3  I read that as the conventional wisdom being concerned that there is a serious probability that they’re going to have to deal with Donald Trump in the White House again, and this time he won’t hold back.

#2  "The 2020 election was rigged and everyone knows it," Trump asserted, even though all such claims have been thoroughly disproved."

A resolution has been introduced by Rep. Finchem in Arizona which would basically decertify Arizona's 2020 election results. Similiar efforts are ongoing in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. A judge from the second highest court in Pennsylvania has ruled the 2020 election results unconstitutional. So no, the claims of a fraudulent election have not been disproved except in the derranged minds of the MSM and Dem Party (one and the same).

#1  Oh look, it's our "friends" in Europe sneering and punching down on us yet again.

When are we going to take the gloves off and start treating them as they treat us: as adversaries?

The cause of US withdrawal enjoys significant support from everyone in Germany.
