IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The de-escalation zone in northwest Syria witnessed on Monday mutual shelling between the Syrian government forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions.

The opposition factions’ sites in the towns of al-Fatira, Kafr Oweid, Sufuhn, Benin and Harsh Benin, south Idlib, were bombed by the government forces stationed in the cities of Kafr Nabl and Marat al-Numan, military sources of the Syrian opposition told North Press.

However, no information on casualties or material damage was reported, the sources added.

Meanwhile, the government forces’ sites in the village of al-Malajah, south of Idlib, were bombed by al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, North Press reported a source in the National Liberation Front.

The gatherings of the Syrian government forces in the town of Urm al-Soghra and the Sheikh Aqil , west of Aleppo, were also hit with heavy guns by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

Media outlets close to the Syrian government revealed the killing of an officer in south of Idlib called Majd Suhail Burhan.
