QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied on Saturday that it had to do with a homemade drone that crashed north of the town of Qabasin in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. Social networking sites published pictures of a homemade drone, which they said it had crashed north of the town of Qabasin, and claimed that it belonged to SDF. “These photos and new are fake. They are just a play that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation resort to as a way to prove obedience to the occupation officers,” said Farhad Shami, director of the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces, on his Facebook page. Shami indicated that these media outlets will continue to spread this “fake news” to cover up the “recruitment of mercenaries” to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. On Friday, the Violations Documentation Center in Northern Syria said that the Turkish army and intelligence held more than one meeting with leaders of Turkish-backed opposition factions in the areas of Azaz and Afrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and asked them to recruit members to transport them to Ukraine.
